We had a good Halloween this year, as you can tell by Elise two-fisting the lollypops.  Oliver did not make it long after pooping on his original costume (he was supposed to be a lion).  At that point, he called it a night, and so Elise and Daddy did the Trick or Treating.

Olly is doing the army crawl and is teething, teething, teething. He loves to play with balls (yeah!) and is still not favoring his left or right arm. He is quite the giggly little guy, and loves to watch the leaves blow. Elise is by far one of his favorite things on the planet, and for some reason he finds it hilarious when she is in trouble. Go figure.
Elise is little miss big lately. You can tell she's entering a new stage by the amount of time she's been spending in time out! Fortunately she returns to her sweet self after testing her limits. As you can see in the picture above, she is trying out new things. Opening the fridge looking for food, choosing to only wear her drawls, and putting them on herself (note that they are backwards!)

They're both still the best things that have ever happened to us!

Sorry for the lapse in posts. It's been a challenging start to the new school year.

Oliver is getting so big. He has two teeth poking through, and he is thoroughly enjoying eating yummy foods. So far bananas are his favorite.

Here's Elise with her first candy necklace she received as a prize after getting a great report from her teachers at the day care. They say she is really sweet to the other kids, and they also say she is advanced. They moved her up to the 3 year old room to challenge her a little more. That's my girl!! She's also started Tae Kwon Do, and is kicking tail and taking names.

Warren "Pappi" and Diane came by for a visit this week, too.

Abbey and Elise really hit it off and have been asking about each other since the visit

Great Grandpa and Olly hit it off, too!

Grandpa and Elise always have a good time.

We all had such a wonderful time. It makes all of us wish we didn't live 650 miles away.

Dad and Donna sent the baby picture of me below claiming that they think Oliver looks a lot like me, and they also think Oliver should work on his disco moves in order for me to compare him to John Travolta!

So what do you think? Doesn't Olly look like Travolta in Travolta's baby picture?
