Halloween went off pretty well here at the Siegmund household. We got Elise to keep her bear head on long enough to visit five or six houses in our neighborhood. Trick or treating sure is not like I remembered it. We walked, and most of the houses in our neighborhood participated. Now, parents drive around casing out houses who are welcoming trick or treaters. It is pretty easy to tell which ones to go to -- the ones with four or five cars already parked in their yard.
